Everlasting Glow is one of two Wet n Wild Color Icon Rainbow Highlighters ($5.99). This highlighter has three shades of pink, a gold and two different white colors in it.
What drew me to this product was the packaging. There’s just something so appealing about a bunch of beautiful colors together in one design.
You may look at this and think “cool, I get 6 different highlighter colors in one.” Unfortunately each section of color is just too small to be able to use them individually.
If you were determined, you probably could use a very small brush in each shade. But who has the patience for that, lol. Not me!
I bought this knowing that I would be using all of the colors blended together for one highlighter shade. And the effect is pretty cool.
Swirled together you get an icy pinkish lilac color. The color is hard to describe because it changes as the light hits it.
One minute it looks white, the next it has a hint of pink and then I also see a hint of light lilac.
The powder itself has a nice smooth texture to it. It feels so buttery soft and it blends out very easily.
My one gripe about this color is that it does contain some glitter. The bottom white color is loaded with multi-color glitter and unfortunately it does show up on my skin.
I’m highly opposed to glitter for the simple fact that I am over 40 now. Glitter accentuates any texture you have on the skin so I avoid it like the plague.
Other than the glitter issue, it’s a fun, pretty highlighting powder. A little goes a long way so use it lightly at first, then build it up if you want more color and glow.
